I'm still laughing about your previous post and the kinkos photo calanders. I really must write a post about the Shaggy Dog book and my love of horizontal striped shirts and how somewhere in one of these boxes I have those photos packed.

Did I tell you I'm moving in two weeks?

Claire, we are totally knitting twins. I just finished my turtleneck prototype (and I totally need your bind-off notes, because despite mine being a cowl, the bind-off edge is ridiculously tight, transforming the potentially graceful drape into a weird deformed mushroom), and I am almost halfway through pedi sock numero uno. Screw the clover DPNs, though. This afternoon, even my laziness did not stand in my way, and despite being in bed watching BBC reruns, I actually got myself up to get metal needles from Jo-Ann before it closed, and I am so glad I did. Bamboo is nice enough for wool, but it is horrible for microfiber. Each stitch was like fingernails on a chalkboard.

In gadgetry news, I'm now totally obsessed with making a cute wrappy needle case. I will make you one, too, if you want! If you're interested, let me know what needle capacity you'd want it to have.
